ABOUT THE JOB:

This position supports inventory control, purchase order processes, operational compliance, and accounting activities across the business. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-focused, and comfortable collaborating with field operations, accounting teams, and cross-functional partners. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to process consistency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support inventory control processes, inventory counts, reconciliations, and variance research
  • Assist field personnel with inventory, purchase order, and material-related questions and processes
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, accounting, and other departments on process improvements and special projects
  • Prepare reports and analysis to support operational and accounting decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, and compliance.
  • Prepares and completes month-end close processing ensuring that all deadlines are met in accordance with the established closing dates
  • Reviews, investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports
  • Communicates and coordinates with both internal and external auditors and satisfies their requests for information in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Regular attendance is required to fulfill the essential functions of the job

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
  • 1-4 years of relevant experience, including experience in public accounting
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Experience with SAP is preferred
  • Strong knowledge in Excel
  • Communicate clearly: both verbal and written
