ABOUT THE JOB:
This role is accountable for driving revenue growth, penetration, margin expansion, and ROI across our core and emerging product portfolios in North America. The Senior Director will set and own the product vision, leading a cross-functional team and stewarding high-impact initiatives with executive visibility.
This leader will translate enterprise strategy into actionable product roadmaps, commercial plans, and performance outcomes. Success requires strong strategic acumen, customer-centric product leadership, and the ability to partner across the organization to deliver adoption, share gains, and sustained profitability.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Category Leadership & Portfolio Strategy
• Own category strategy and performance, driving revenue growth, penetration, and margin expansion across core and emerging product lines.
• Conduct deep market and competitive analyses, customer research, and VOC programs to identify unmet needs, shape value propositions, and prioritize investment.
• Lead annual and long-range planning, ensuring alignment to company strategy and financial objectives.
New Product Development & Innovation
• Lead new product initiatives from concept through commercialization, including justification, business case development, roadmap prioritization, pricing, and launch.
• Oversee program execution across cost, quality, and schedule, partnering closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance.
• Drive lifecycle management, including enhancements, sunset decisions, and ROI optimization.
Commercial Enablement & Go-to-Market Excellence
• Develop and execute sales enablement strategies, including training, tools, competitive positioning, and performance dashboards that accelerate adoption and revenue.
• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure effective execution, performance tracking, and field feedback loops.
• Enable data-driven decision-making through consistent category performance management and insights delivery.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Lead and develop a high-performing product management team, fostering customer-centricity, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Serve as the connective tissue between customer needs, product vision, and business outcomes, influencing executives and cross-functional partners.
• Champion a rigorous approach to portfolio governance, prioritization, and continuous improvement.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in product, strategy, finance, or analytics roles, with at least 5 years leading high-performing teams.
• Proven success in B2B environments, ideally with capital-intensive or industrial products.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Product & Strategy Expertise
• Demonstrated capability in category management, product positioning, pricing strategy, and commercial excellence.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to build business cases, assess ROI, and drive insights into strategic action.
• Expertise translating customer insights and VOC research into differentiated value propositions and product direction.
Technical & Analytical Proficiency
• Advanced skills in Excel and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI); familiarity with SAP, Tableau, or comparable platforms preferred.
• Ability to leverage data platforms and financial metrics (P&L, margin performance, EBITDA impact) to inform decisions and measure success.
Leadership & Influence
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functionally and communicate clearly at executive levels.
• Track record of developing and leading high-performing, customer-centric product teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive alignment across commercial, operational, and technical functions to deliver outcomes.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, etc. during course of day.
Work Environment:
This is an in office role; not hybrid. Ability to travel up to 30%.
Supervision:
This role is currently responsible for a team of up to 10 employees at various levels in terms of titles and experience
