Role Overview
We’re seeking a Content Specialist  to join WillScot at a pivotal moment for the brand. You’ll have a direct hand in shaping the voice of a leader in flexible space solutions. Your stories will define how we connect with customers and make an impact across industries.


This role will blend strong copywriting with disciplined project/production management. You’ll source and shape authentic, field based stories, coordinating with customers and internal teams to secure visuals and approvals. You’ll craft channel appropriate content across blogs, case studies, publications, website, social, and sales collateral. You’ll connect product use cases to the right customer segments and ensure content moves from concept to completion – meeting brand, timing, and compliance requirements. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

What You’ll Do
Content Strategy & Planning
•    Translate brand and go to market priorities into content plans mapped to customer segments, funnel stages, and channels.
•    Maintain an editorial calendar that integrates campaigns, launches, field activations, and seasonal moments.
•    Identify high profile field projects and customer stories that demonstrate real world impact and differentiation.
Story Sourcing & Production
•    Proactively source stories from the field - partnering with Sales, Field Ops, Product, and Customer Success to identify jobsites, secure access, and capture proof (photos/video/testimonials).
•    Coordinate customer interviews, quotes, and legal approvals; manage consent/release forms and brand compliance.
•    Orchestrate production logistics (briefs, shot lists, creative requests, timelines) and keep stakeholders aligned from pitch to publish.
Writing & Editing
•    Write sharp, concise copy for blogs, case studies, one pagers, social posts, web pages/LPs, email intros, and captions - adapting tone for audience and channel.
•    Edit for clarity, consistency, and brand voice; apply SEO best practices to increase discoverability and engagement.
•    In combination with the creative team,package and repurpose content into snackable formats (reels, carousels, short case snippets) without losing strategic intent.
Cross Functional Collaboration
•    Partner with Design/Creative on asset creation; provide briefs, messaging, and proof points.
•    Work with Product/SMEs to validate positioning and technical accuracy.
•    Coordinate with Sales Enablement to convert stories into effective collateral and talk tracks.
Measurement & Optimization
•    Track performance against content and business goals; synthesize insights to inform future topics, formats, and channel mix.
•    Maintain an organized and user-friendly system of record (CMS/asset library) and a content pipeline dashboard to ensure visibility and reuse.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

What You’ll Bring
Must Have Qualifications
•    1–4 years in content marketing, editorial, communications, or related role (agency or in house).
•    Demonstrated copywriting ability with portfolio samples (long form + short form).
•    Strong project management skills - able to run multiple workstreams, coordinate stakeholders, and hit deadlines.
•    Experience adapting content across channels (blog, web, social, email, sales collateral).
•    Comfort working on jobsites and with customers; willing to travel up to 25% for field stories and activations.
•    Familiarity with a modern CMS and basic SEO principles.
Nice to Have
•    Experience in construction, industrial, logistics, or B2B environments.
•    Working knowledge of design/collab tools (e.g., Adobe CC, Figma, Canva) and PM tools (Asana/Monday/Jira).
•    Basic video or photo production coordination skills (shot lists, on site logistics, file handling).
•    Experience applying brand guidelines across content  and coordinating approval when required (e.g., releases, usage rights)l.
