ABOUT THE JOB:

Provide legal experience to a qualified law student who will assist members of the the legal department in executing the legal strategy of WillScot with respect to contracting, corporate governance and litigation. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Support members of the legal team with contract review, including customer and vendor agreements
  • Employment matters, including non-solicitation/non-disclosure analysis
  • Litigation Support, including assisting with discovery responses
  • Business matters, including policy review, drafting and analysis
  • Initial drafts of correspondence
  • Draft corporate resolutions and consents and generally assist the legal team with corporate governance.
  • Collaborate and interact with legal leaders as well as company leadership.
  • Opportunity to contribute to or lead ad hoc projects within the legal department
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have finished second year of law school
  • Very strong research, writing and communication skills
  • A demonstrated interest in corporate business legal work
  • Be a high energy, forward thinking self-starter.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Have a high sense of urgency, attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment are essential.
