ABOUT THE JOB:

The Financial Analyst supports the FP&A team by assisting with financial reporting, forecasting, and data analysis. This early career role is designed to help develop core analytical and financial modeling skills while contributing to the organization’s budgeting and performance processes.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

•    Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with the development of annual plans and rolling forecasts, ensuring alignment between departmental goals and corporate strategy.
•    Variance Analysis: Support monitoring financial and operational results against plan; identify and investigate key variances and deliver actionable findings to the management team.
•    Business Partnership: Act as a dedicated finance resource or as additional support for a variety of Corporate departments (when assigned), helping to translate their financial data into clear business guidance.  Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary data to conduct analysis.
•    Executive Presentations: Assist in compilation of financial data into high-level strategic materials for monthly/quarterly management and Board of Directors meetings and public filings of financial results.
•    Financial Systems and Process support: Develop proficiency and help recommend improvements to Hyperion Planning and advanced Excel models to validate forecasts and support the daily business.
•    Process documentation: Help the FP&A organization document and maintain standard operating procedures for all recurring FP&A activities to ensure consistency, accuracy and efficient cross-training and scalability within the team (both Corporate and Field).  Recommend and help implement optimization opportunities as they are identified.
•    Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct rapid-response financial analysis and special projects to support emerging strategic initiatives.
Additional Duties and Functions as assigned

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education and Experience: 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;  CPA eligibility or interest in pursuing CPA is a plus, not required
•    Minimum of three years of financial experience.  Internship or project based experience in finance, accounting, or data analysis preferred
•    Experience in FP&A, financial modeling or data analysis preferred
•    Proficiency with financial systems and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Oracle, SAP) preferred

 

Required Skills and Abilities: 
•    Strong foundation in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling) and entire Office Suite
•    Ability to problem-solve and analyze new information
•    Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
•    Ability to communicate financial information clearly in written and verbal form.
•    Collaborative approach and ability to build strong cross functional relationships
•    Self-starter mentality with commitment to continuous improvement and learning
•    High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization skill
•    Willingness to learn financial systems and analytical tools.


Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, walk, etc., for office environment; ability to be on phones majority of business day.


Work Environment: 
This is an in office role, not hybrid.  Occasional extended hours during key reporting periods.
