ABOUT THE JOB:

This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and compliant recording of financial transactions and maintaining thorough, current accounting records. It supports timely financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strong financial controls through journal postings, reconciliations, statutory filings, and employee-related financial activities. The position also plays a key role in facilitating efficient vendor management, asset accounting, and payroll-related processes in accordance with established accounting standards and legal requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Accurately record and maintain all financial transactions in compliance with established accounting principles.
  • Record and Maintain Purchase Orders, vendor bills, Vendor Payments, and fixed asset Records.
  • Prepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries.
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of indirect tax returns (GST, TDS, PT, PF, MLWF).
  • Review and process employee reimbursement claims, investment declarations, and proofs of investment.
  • Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, GST, TDS, and general ledger transactions.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of fundamental accounting concepts, including double-entry bookkeeping, credits/debits, Ind AS, and GAAP.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in financial management systems such as Zoho, QuickBooks, and intermediate-level Excel skills.
  • Ethical Values: Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and professionalism in handling financial data.
  • Experience: 4–5 years of relevant experience in GCC, MNC, IT, or ITES sectors
