ABOUT THE JOB:

As the Sr. Sales Program Manager at Willscot, you will be responsible for leading and tracking the implementation of sales strategies, sales enablement processes and tool adoption.  Your primary focus will be on managing & prioritizing our omni-channel capabilities, internal sales enablement repositories, AI platform capabilities with an emphasis on experimentation design and reporting.  This role requires a technically minded individual who can run programs across multiple initiatives and teams in parallel.  You are a critical thinker, curious and disciplined in driving program updates, escalations and stakeholder alignment. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Collaboration:

  • Provide guidance and leadership to cross-functional teams.  Break down technical or complex system flows into easy-to-understand steps for multiple different users. 
  • Be the liaison who can communicate and translate complex technical flows between cross-functional teams, end users, engineering, product managers, and vendor partners.
  • Transform strategic documentation into BRD (business requirement documents) and process workflows.
  • Provide UAT (user acceptance testing) requirements and perform (limited) testing & occasional audits yourself. 

 

Project Management:

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of technical sales projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
  • Ensure projects have clearly defined charters, scope, executive sponsorship, reporting and 
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables.  
  • Develop detailed project plans and track budget accordingly.  

 

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Be the primary point of contact for programs and projects in your portfolio.  Provide proactive updates and communication for project status, including escalations when appropriate.
  • Facilitate demos, meetings, and moments of collaboration to ensure project alignment all the way to project completion. 
  • Ability to escalate and raise awareness when roadblocks and risks are introduced.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business analytics and finance to measure ROI for your programs.  Ensure reporting when applicable is clearly defined and implemented to support objective performance analysis.
  • Familiarity with and ability to update repositories and updates in the following tools: (Visio, Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office etc.). 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 8 years prior B2B or B2C sales experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in managing projects.  
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with technical and non-technical internal stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of sales technologies, CRM systems, telephony platforms, large language models.
  • Previous experience integrating processes/technology/people due to mergers and acquisitions is a plus.
  • Proficiency in at least two of the following tools preferred: Salesforce, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, M365, Lucid, Miro or similar) required.
