ABOUT THE JOB:

The Continuous Learning Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying comprehensive ongoing education programs for the sales organization. This role focuses on continuous improvement and professional growth of tenured sales professionals across all channels. The position oversees the creation of learning frameworks, the development of enablement content, and the execution through a team of training professionals. The goal is to drive sustained performance, adopt strategic initiatives, and reinforce a culture of excellence through learning.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Build and own the continuous education strategy for the commercial sales organization, aligned to strategic priorities and performance goals.
  • Design and manage a comprehensive learning framework for existing sellers that includes product training, skills reinforcement, coaching tools, and professional development.  
  • Provide oversight to Sales training professionals responsible for the execution and facilitation of continuous learning content across regions and roles.  This includes providing learning trends and data and training recommendations to Commercial Excellence Managers, Sale Trainers, etc. and working with those teams to ensure completion.
  • Develop high-impact, scalable training materials and digital content that align with sales methodology, business priorities, and organizational goals.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Commercial Excellence to ensure learning programs address current business challenges and growth opportunities as well as follow up for completion and increased performance.
  • Monitor performance trends to identify knowledge gaps and proactively address them with targeted education solutions.  Collaborate with sales call coaching team to gather trends and work with leaders to implement required training for those not performing.
  • Measure program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative feedback loops, including seller assessments, training scores, and business impact metrics.  Coordinate UAT testing for sales systems with training and Commercial Excellence teams to ensure completion and implementation.
  • Continuously evolve learning strategies through feedback, market trends, and salesforce enablement innovations.  Oversee Sales Knowledge Center as one true source of updated sales training, systems and process improvements.
  • Embed sales transformation initiatives, such as AI tools, pricing programs, and go-to-market enhancements, into ongoing education to support them.
  • Champion a continuous learning, career development, and sales excellence culture.
  • Travel to branches and field locations, as needed, to deliver in-person training or support leadership in reinforcing learning initiatives.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years’ experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Training, or Learning & Development
  • 10+ years leading a training team or function, with demonstrated project ownership and execution
  • Strong instructional design experience and proven ability to build scalable training content
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
  • Experience in B2B selling environments and knowledge of sales methodologies
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office; familiarity with e-learning platforms (e.g., Articulate, Rise, or similar) preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and link to training interventions
  • Expertise in adult learning principles, coaching frameworks, and sales methodologies.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence leadership stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, including scoping, resourcing, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Advanced presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on business outcomes and operational effectiveness.
