ABOUT THE JOB:

The Inside Sales Supervisor will be a lead support for up to fifteen (15) Inside Sales Representatives (SSC) who serve as the transactional sales arm of our company. The Inside Sales Supervisor is responsible implementing all initiatives that will improve the experience for our customer and additionally the supervisor is expected to coach, train, and develop their team within a fast pace environment in order to exceed our company sales expectations. The Inside Sales Supervisor will maintain excellent service standards, respond efficiently to any customer escalations, strive for high customer satisfaction and excel in Willscots Core Values of Collaboration, Empowerment, Excellence, and Innovation.  This position is commission eligible.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Safety/Environment:

  • Contribute to a working environment by providing exceptional and world class customer service
  • Conduct business in compliance with all Williams Scotsman Safety, Transportation, and Environmental Policies

Sales Support:

  • Lead the teams by example, hours worked, effort, customer awareness, the importance of repeat business, etc.
  • Assist with department coordination, interviewing, developing, motivating and retaining staff
  • Meet  regularly  with  inside sales  team  to  identify  areas  of  improvement,  share  information  about  current  deals  in  pipeline  and  keep  everyone  on  same  page
  • Attend  department  meetings  and  shares  constructive  feedback  on  day  to  day  activities  that  affect  the  overall  department success  
  • Work  closely  with  all  Sales  Support  Center  Reps  to  uncover  and  challenges  and  offer  constructive  feedback
  • Promote revenue generation and product penetration with all customer contacts
  • Effectively  handle  overflow calls  Sales  calls  from  any  Williams  Scotsman  Branch 
  • Ensures CRM is up to date with accurate information and opportunities
  • Assist with Training all new employees and implement any new policy and procedures for the inside sales team 
  • The role will act as a secondary backup for inside sales as needed
  • Inform branch coverage when Inside Sales Representatives are out of the office
  • Work in conjunction with SSC Mangers to coach, design specific initiatives or programs to help drive SSC Reps to achieve their KPI’s
  • Support all company initiatives as related to our dedicated hot lead program

Customer Focus:

  • Has  working  knowledge  of  current  Williams  Scotsman  pricing  guidelines  and  works  within  those  parameters.  Sells  value  before  reducing  rate  
  • Use Net Promoter System (NPS) feedback to provide timely correspondence and address internal issues
  • Form and maintain good relationships with external and internal customers at all levels of the organization
  • Effectively  follow  KPI  goals  and  objectives,  tracks  progress  to  make  adjustments  if  behind  on  goals 
  • Has  the  discipline  to  follow  up  with  every  customer  to  minimize  the  risk of  losing  opportunities

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Abilities and Other Requirements:   

  • The ability to perform work in a professional office environment and be able to use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines, is required.  
  • Strong self-starter, team player, able to work with all company departments. Enthusiastic about day to day activities, and  brings a positive attitude  to  work  every  day
  • Well Organized, able to handle multiple tasks  at  once
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open, proactive communication
  • Build sustainable relationships with staff, Commercial and Operational Excellence teams through open, proactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.  Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Exhibits a high attention to detail

Education and Qualifications

  • College Degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of sales/management experience. 
  • Able to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships across all levels and departments 
  • Proven leadership background in a sales environment; ability to develop, mentor, and empower the inside sales team while creating a culture of accountability. 
  • Proficient with MS Office/Excel/Word/Outlook as well as Salesforce.com or other CRM; JD Edwards, or reporting tools like Cognos is a plus.     
  • Capable of pulling and analyzing data to deliver insights on performance and strong ability to produce high-quality PowerPoint presentations for customer interactions and senior management.
