ABOUT THE JOB:

The Manager, Inside Sales is responsible for leading and managing the inside sales team to achieve revenue targets and deliver exceptional customer experience. This role involves developing sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics and ensuring efficient sales processes.  The manager will collaborate with other departments to drive pipeline growth and optimize conversion rates.

 

Please know that Canadian Citizens must possess a Current Passport.  Permanent Residents must possess a Current U.S. Visa in order to attend Sales Training at our Corporate Headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Lead a sales support team of up to 25 sales representatives and up to two Sales Supervisors and a Team Leader who serve as the transactional sales team at WillScot.  Assist with department coordination, interviewing, developing, motivating and retaining staff.  Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Lead the team to promote revenue generation and product penetration with all customer contact.  Ensure CRM is up to date with accurate information and opportunities.  Collaborate with field and branch leadership to ensure adequate sales coverage.
  • Work in conjunction with Inside Sales Supervisors and Team Leader to identify trends, coach the team, design specific initiatives or programs to help drive sales reps to achieve KPIs. Effectively handle customer escalations and overcome customer objectives.  Monitor and report of sales metrics, including pipeline heath and conversation rates; use sales dashboard to track performance.
  • Meet with team regularly to identify areas of improvement, share updates about current deals in pipeline and keep everyone on the same track. Collaborate with other sales center on same for consistency and efficiency in overall Inside Sales process and procedures.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education and Experience: 
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.  
Minimum five years of progressive leadership experience; sales team management preferred.
Minimum five years of progressive sales experience; B2B experience preferred.
Salesforce CRM experience required.

Required Skills and Abilities: 
Strong communication skills for both written and verbal; ability to communicate with all levels in professional manner.
Deep understanding of sales process tied with metrics to drive revenue growth.
Ability to develop, mentor and empower team while creating a culture of accountability.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.


Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, walk, etc., for office environment; ability to be on phones majority of business day.


Work Environment:
This is an in office role; not hybrid.

Supervision: Up to two Supervisors, one Team Leader and a team of up to 25 sales reps.

Base Wage Range: $83,900.00 - $125,900.00   
Individual rates are based on a variety of factors such as degrees or certifications, skill-level and years of experience, and include considerations such as expected overtime and variable compensation pay such as bonus or commission.
