ABOUT THE JOB:
The primary focus of this position is to operate forklifts to stack and retrieve WillScot Units and Offices. Responsibilities also include documenting and maintaining inventory and ensuring production area organization and cleanliness.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Loads and unloads Storage Units and Offices from a variety of trucks and trailers
- Inspects and documents returned Units and Offices to ensure proper documentation. Tags Units and Offices for repair (red tagged) or cleaned and ready to go out (green tagged)
- Assists the Yard Workers in moving Units and Offices in and out of Yard, that either need to be maintained or have finished the maintenance process
- Ensures the Units and Offices are kept in an appropriate organized manner for the Yard and the Yard is free of debris and potential hazards
- Performs minor/light repairs on the forklifts
- Other duties as assigned
- Outdoor work environment may include heat, dust, or noise
- Work tasks may require periodic lifting, climbing
- Work tasks may require period lifting of items weighing 35-40 pounds
- Work tasks may require hours of seated work
- Work tasks may require hours of standing work
Equipment Used and Responsibility:
- Gas powered forklift
- Computer – for time keeping
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 Years Experience
- High School Diploma
- Appropriate forklift certification
- Welding experience preferred

Base Wage Range: $20.00 - $27.00
Individual rates are based on a variety of factors such as degrees or certifications, skill-level and years of experience, and include considerations such as expected overtime and variable compensation pay such as bonus or commission.
